About
Hello! I’m Jashele, a passionate tech professional and lifelong learner.
In 2019, I embarked on a journey to sharpen my technical skills in website development, so I enrolled in a coding bootcamp to help me reach my professional goals.
Then in 2020, I landed in the Higher Education industry as a Software Developer Specialist focusing on managing/supporting Drupal (.EDU) websites. After that, I worked as an Email Developer for a digital agency where I specialized in building HTML email templates for pharmaceutical businesses.
For the past 2 years, I’ve been working in the world of e-commerce as a Web Administrator, where I primarily specialize in configuring, supporting, and managing Magento (Adobe Commerce) websites for independent retailers.
My experience working in various roles in multiple industries has prepared me to adapt my skills and ideas to meet the unique needs of an organization.
What grounds me in my career is that I love to learn and apply new skills, whether it be professionally or in my own personal life. I’m excited to continue to grow as a professional and always open to new opportunities that will contribute to my growth.
Over the past 4+ years, I have actively worked with and gained professional experience in the following technologies & tools:
Technical Contributions
I’ve had wonderful opportunities to contribute meaningfully in the tech community. This section is where I’ve highlighted a couple of my favorites.
ScreenPal for remote work and content creation
February 2024
From time to time, I share some of my favorite software tools that I use via my YouTube tech channel. ScreenPal is one of them that I use to create all my screen recordings and clips.
The ScreenPal team found my video and invited me to write a blog post to talk more about how I use this tool in my everyday life.
MDN Code Nuggets (5 Piece Meal)
September 2021
I previously wrote a blog post where I shared some HTML code nuggets that I find very useful.
The team at Onymos really liked this post and invited me as a guest blogger.
